Control4 Unveils Next-Gen Halo Family of Remotes with Voice Control & Enhanced Features
Snap One has officially launched the highly anticipated Control4 Halo Family of remotes,
redefining the handheld control experience for smart homes. The new line includes two
models—Halo and Halo Touch—both designed with user-centric upgrades, including backlit
buttons, dual-band WiFi, and push-to-talk voice control.
Built from installer and customer feedback, these remotes deliver smoother performance,
enhanced reliability, and greater ease of use. The Halo features a 2.8-inch screen with hard
button navigation, while the Halo Touch boasts a premium 3.2-inch customizable touchscreen in
a brushed aluminum chassis.
A standout feature is the new voice integration. With a dedicated voice button and built-in
microphone, users can control Apple TV (via Siri), Xfinity, and—soon—Josh.ai, using natural
voice commands. Both remotes also offer upgraded color lighting control, recently played audio
tracking, and access to user-created scenes and automations.
The Halo remotes can be installed by homeowners using the Control4 app, and integrators
benefit from OvrC remote monitoring for battery life and connectivity stats. Available in black
(Halo) and black or silver (Halo Touch), these remotes are poised to elevate smart home
experiences and offer strong upsell potential for dealers.
In short, the Halo Family sets a new standard for premium control—blending design,
functionality, and voice-driven convenience in one sleek package.
