Dirac Expands Partnership with Marantz and Denon, Brings Premium Room Correction
to Streaming Amps
Swedish audio tech leader Dirac is broadening its collaboration with Marantz and Denon,
bringing its acclaimed Dirac Live room correction technology to even more users. In a recent
update, the Marantz MODEL M1 and Denon Home Amps became the first streaming
amplifiers from either brand to support Dirac Live—delivered via a simple software update.
This move marks a significant step for both casual listeners and audiophiles seeking high-
performance audio without complex setup.
“With this expanded collaboration with Marantz and Denon, Dirac is advancing its mission to
bring audiophile-grade performance from the few to the many,” said Fredric Tapper, Dirac’s VP
and Head of Business Development.
Dirac Live analyzes a room’s acoustics and the complete audio system to fine-tune sound
delivery—improving bass response, clarity, and imaging. Unlike traditional hardware fixes,
Dirac Live requires no specialized tools or deep technical knowledge to achieve a high-end
listening experience.
The update offers two upgrade paths:
– Dirac Live Limited Bandwidth: $159
– Dirac Live Full Bandwidth: $249
Both bring powerful room correction capabilities, with the full version offering deeper frequency
calibration for more advanced setups.
For Marantz and Denon users, this update is a gateway to more immersive and precise
sound—no extra hardware required.
