DMF Lighting Unveils PhaseX and Artafex Linear at Lightapalooza 2025
At Lightapalooza 2025 in Dallas, DMF Lighting unveiled two major innovations designed
specifically for custom integrators: PhaseX, a next-gen tunable white lighting system, and
Artafex Linear, a modular solution for high-performance linear lighting.
PhaseX: Smarter, Simpler Tunable White Lighting
After three years of development, PhaseX emerges as a powerful yet easy-to-install tunable
white solution aimed at simplifying digital lighting control. Designed for flexibility and
scalability, PhaseX enables integrators to deliver individual fixture control, scene setting, and
circadian lighting, all while using standard two-wire Romex—no special wiring needed.
Each PhaseX Gateway can manage up to 64 fixtures, working seamlessly with systems like
Crestron Home via DMX.
Key features include:
– Ultra-low 0.1% dimming
– Open protocol for broad control platform compatibility
– DMF’s premium trims and modular fixture design
“We created PhaseX to be adaptable, simple, and powerful—giving integrators a competitive
edge,” said Mike Libman, SVP, Custom Integrators at DMF.
Artafex Linear: A New Era of Linear Lighting
The new Artafex Linear line addresses the biggest pain points with traditional LED tape:
complex ordering, unreliable connections, and time-consuming installation. With magnetic
connectors, no field soldering, and a dust-resistant silicone lens, Artafex Linear is as practical
as it is sleek.
It’s available in 1″, 2″, and 12″ increments, and offers:
– Dot-free performance with high LED density
– Warm Dim to match DMF downlights
– Preconfigured kits for fast installation
– Flexible ordering: by total footage, zone, or individual components
Applications range from under-cabinet and cove lighting to home office task lighting, with
integration options for most popular control systems.
Together, PhaseX and Artafex Linear signal DMF Lighting’s commitment to bringing custom
integrators future-ready, easy-to-use solutions that elevate residential lighting design.
