Focal Unveils Theva: A Fresh Take on Hi-Fi Loudspeakers
Focal has officially launched its new Theva speaker lineup, replacing the popular Chora series
with a fresh range designed for both two-channel and home theater setups. Built with feedback
from customers and crafted in Focal’s French workshops, Theva aims to deliver enhanced
performance, style, and versatility.
At the heart of the Theva line is Focal’s proven Slatefiber cone technology—made from recycled
carbon fibers and thermoplastic polymers—offering dynamic, balanced sound. Paired with the
brand’s Aluminum/Magnesium TNF tweeter, also made in France, Theva speakers promise clear,
refined treble.
The design overhaul goes beyond acoustics. Theva introduces upgraded finishes in Black, Dark
Wood, and Light Wood, with modernized styling that fits seamlessly into any space. Notable
enhancements include:
A new front panel for a cleaner finish
Metallic Focal rings around drivers for visual coherence
Rear-firing vents for sleeker enclosures
Compact bookshelf and slimmer floorstanding models
Finish-matched grills and bases
Chrome-trimmed tweeters for a subtle, elegant look
The Theva range continues Focal’s legacy of innovation and design, offering a polished, high-
performance speaker solution for today’s audiophiles.
