Samsung Unveils Movingstyle: A Portable Smart TV to Rival LG’s StanbyME
Samsung is stepping into the portable smart TV space with the debut of Movingstyle, a new
battery-powered, touch-capable display clearly aimed at competing with LG’s popular
StanbyME series.
The 27-inch Movingstyle features a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR
remastering, delivering sharp, smooth visuals in a versatile form factor. It includes a built-in
handle for easy carrying and comes with a wheeled stand, making it simple to roll from room to
room.
Beyond its own smart TV platform, Movingstyle supports AirPlay and Google Cast for easy
content streaming from mobile devices. It also offers voice control through Google Assistant
and Samsung Bixby, plus a range of connectivity options including two USB ports, an HDMI
port, and a built-in 1080p webcam. A 10W 2-channel audio system with Dolby Atmos
ensures sound quality matches the screen’s performance.
Currently available only in South Korea, Samsung has teased a global launch in the near future
— signaling its intent to bring portable, flexible viewing into more homes worldwide.
