Snap One has introduced Control4 X4, a completely redesigned smart home interface that
empowers homeowners to fine-tune their smart systems without calling an integrator for every
small change. Debuted at CEDIA Expo 2024, this new platform marks a major leap in user-
friendly smart home control.

Designed to evolve alongside the user’s lifestyle, Control4 X4 introduces features like Routines
and Widgets, enabling users to customize their automations and daily interactions directly from
the app. Think personalized lighting schedules, music preferences, and one-touch scenes—all
editable without technical expertise.

The minimalist interface is not only more intuitive but also more adaptable. Users can manage
full subsystems—like surveillance or audio—from a unified Home Screen, and seamlessly
navigate between rooms, routines, and settings. It also brings enhanced Apple HomeKit support,
allowing scene control via Siri, iPhone Control Center, CarPlay, and more.

Control4 X4 will begin rolling out to U.S. partners in early 2025, with a beta launching later this
year. Snap One also announced it will sunset cloud services for older Control4 OS 2 systems by
2026.
